Such Great Heights: Week 2 Summary

Such Great Heights: Week 2 Summary

Having driven across the 3000 kilometer mark this week, here’s the update:

  1. CLIMB: The weather has been cooperating slightly better; we got 2 solid bon con days in, as well as one “cheat” day (when it was actually raining, but following some pro tips (thanks Allan!), we ended up rope climbing under a huge roof that kept the routes dry). In rather exciting news, I got my first V3 outside — Ribcage at Stone Fort (aka Little Rock City)! Since this was half of my climbing goal for the trip, I’m upping it to getting a V4 (with a few more V3s along the way). We’ll see if the weather holds next week! 8/10.

  2. READ: I'm finishing up The Feminine Mystique, making slightly more progress than before, but not quite over the line. 2/10.

  3. QUEST: This was a session-less week, but I did receive my workbook from the ladies at The Grand. It’s beautiful, and contains a ton of exercises I’m looking forward to completing. No score this week.

  4. FRENCH: Verrrry little progress here this week. 2/10.

Wanna Help?

I’m looking for my next book (if only to motivate me to finish my current one), and would like for it to be an overview of economic models with an eye to future sustainability (beyond ecological and climate-related) and regeneration; something like the Circular Economy primer but with more history and further detail (but no added dryness, pretty please) should do the trick.

Have y’all got a suggestion? Drop me a note, or comment below, I’m eager to hear it.
